Every child deserves a place to call home, a safe space where their stories can flourish. This Christmas, Kimpton Fitzroy London is proud to partner with Coram, the UK’s first children’s charity, to launch Home Is Where The Start Is – a campaign inspired by the meaning of home, belonging, and new beginnings.
At the heart of the campaign is a collection of hand-drawn Christmas cards created by local Bloomsbury schoolchildren supported by Coram, each one sharing what the festive season means to them. Proceeds from the sales of these cards will go directly to Coram, helping Kimpton Fitzroy London to reach our £10,000 goal to give children and young people in care the stable homes and bright futures they deserve.
To further mark the occasion, a hand-crafted model of Kimpton Fitzroy London, created by artist Stephen Daltrey, is displayed in the turret as you enter reception. Each time a donation is made and a fundraising target is reached, a floor lights – a glowing reminder that together, we’re helping Coram create brighter tomorrows for children.
Launching on Monday, 10th November, Home Is Where The Start Is will be set up by the reception desk, where guests can purchase Christmas cards and other festive gifts. Proceeds from our Kimpton Christmas Shop go directly to Coram, supporting their work in finding safe, loving homes for children and young people across the UK.
